Nutricosmetics: feed your beauty!
Nutricosmetic is a perfect combination between nutrition and cosmetic, in fact it contains functional ingredients which, after oral administration, have beneficial effects on skin, hair or nails. The nutricosmetics start from the basic principle that beauty is not only outer shell, but a something strongly influenced by the internal well-being. While traditional cosmetics acting through the outside, provide a targeted solution, the nutricosmetics intervene wherever there is need to help. The idea is to absorb orally active ingredients, minerals and nutritional agents that can improve skin nutrition in depth.

FlaNat proposes a skin functional herbal tea with purifying and detoxifying effect, able to stimulate the elimination of toxins responsible for skin impurities thanks to the specific combination of the plants used. The pleasant spicy taste of cinnamon gives a cool and refreshing note to this brew. The formulations only uses selected ingredient to maximize the benefits:
- Green tea (Camellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze): promotes the drainage of body fluids and the antioxidant action helping to fight the free radicals effects on the body, including the skin.
- Birch (Betula pendula Roth): facilitates drainage of body fluids and the purifying functions of the organism.
- Bearberry (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi (L.) Spreng): indicated to drainage of body fluids.
- Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale Weber): encourages drainage of body fluids and the purifying functions of the organism.
- Red clover (Trifolium pratense L.): promotes the physiological skin functionality and the purifying body functions.
- Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum Blume.): gives the drink a pleasant flavour.
It is suggested to boil the infusion for 1-2 minutes and leave to infuse for 5-10 minutes. Drink as it’s or add sugar or honey to taste. Safety during pregnancy and lactation has not been established. In the absence of sufficient data, use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.
