Butcher's broom

The butcher's broom (Ruscus aculeatus L.) belongs to the Ruscaceae family and is a plant native to the Mediterranean.
It is an evergreen plant, characterized by numerous thorns on the upper part of the leaves and forms very intricate shrubs.


  Thanks to its phytonutrients, in particular ruscogenin, the properties of the butcher's broom are mostly diuretic with the elimination of chlorides, sedative and anti-inflammatory of the urinary tract.
It also has beneficial effects against non-joint arthritis and rheumatism and helps support the function and structure of the microcirculation system.
