Commitment #1
MAKE A BETTER USE OF WHAT IS NOT USED YET

In a society where food waste is an inexhaustible source of nutrients, we are committed to enhancing all those less noble parts of crops that are discarded as being too little economically advantageous for food.

The PROCURE project started in 2017 focused on:

• searching for an alternative source of anthocyanins from by-products;
• using of pigmented corn cob as a valuable source of bioactive compounds like cyanidin-3-glucoside and quercetin;
• chemical characterization of the phytocomplex from pigmented corn cobs which has been shown to contribute to the normalization of blood glucose levels

Commitment #2:
FOLLOW A SEED TO SHELF STRATEGY

QUALITY OF RAW MATERIAL IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS FOR AN HIGH QUALITY PLANT INGREDIENT!!

To preserve Nature's future we work with cultivated plants using agronomy technologies and process engineering expertise that provide sustainable solutions across the all supply chain with high quality management through:

• Seed selection and plant growth monitoring;
• Raw material cultivation and harvesting control;
• Active plant ingredients purity and efficacy evaluation;
• Full management of Ingredients production process

Commitment #3:
APPLY A SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE IN SUPPORT OF THE TERRITORY

To contribute a sustainable future for agriculture we have started the sowing of Camelina Sativa (L.) Crantz as a pilot project with the aim of implementing new crops to support the territory through:

• Definition of agronomic practices that respect the plant and its needs;
• Protection of the environment and biodiversity;
• Reduction of water, plant protection products and fertilizers;

Commitment #4
FOLLOW A SCIENCE-BACKED RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

R&D activities are the focus of the characterization of our selected ingredients for the development of rigorous protocols aimed at pre-clinical and clinical studies:

• Quality control of raw material;
• Extraction protocol set-up;
• Chemical characterization.

We are making the right choices for ourselves and for a sustainable development! Are you?
