This privacy notice tells you what to expect when we at FlaNat Research (FLANAT) collect your personal information.

It applies to information we collect about:

  • visitors to our website
  • people who are using our services (subscribing to our newsletter; Purchasing from us; requesting information; etc.)
  • people who are receiving a mailing from us

Visitors to our website

When someone visits our website we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of  our website. We collect this information in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

We do use Google Analytics to help analyze the usage of our website.

This analytical tool uses text files placed on your computer (“cookies”) to collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior information in an anonymous form. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) is transmitted to Google. This information is then used to evaluate visitors’ use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity. Please refer to Google's privacy policy on Analytics.

FLANAT will not (and will not allow any third party) to use the statistical analytics tool to track or to collect any personally identifiable information of visitors to our site. We will not associate any data gathered from this site with any personally identifying information from any source as part of our use of the Google statistical analytics tool. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. Neither FlaNat / Doranan naturae nor Google will link, or seek to link, an IP address with the identity of a computer user.

If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be upfront about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.

People who are using our services

We have to hold the details of the people who have requested the service in order to provide it. However, we only use these details to provide the service the person has requested and for other closely related purposes. For example, we might use information about people who have requested a proposal to carry out a survey to find out if they are happy with the level of service they received. When people do subscribe to our newsletter, they can cancel their subscription at any time and are given an easy way of doing this.

People who are receiving a mailing from us

Our email marketing is permission based. If you received a mailing from us, our records indicate that:

(a) you have expressly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future ("subscribing"); or

(b) you have purchased or otherwise have an existing relationship with us; or

(c) you either left your contact details to one of our associates at any of the trade shows you have attended.

We respect your time and attention by controlling the frequency of our mailings.

If you believe you have received unwanted, unsolicited email sent via this system or purporting to be sent via this system, please write your comments to info@flanat.com.

How can you stop receiving email from us?

Each email sent contains an easy, automated way for you to cease receiving email from us, or to change your expressed interests. If you wish to do this, simply follow the links at the end of any email to "Unsubscribe" or "Change your subscription" profile.

Use of Web Beacons

When we send you emails, we may include a web beacon to allow us to determine the number of people who open our emails. When you click on a link in an email, we may record this individual response to allow us to customize our offerings to you. Web beacons collect only limited information, such as a cookie identifier, time and date of a page being viewed, and a description of the page on which the Web Beacon resides (the URL).

Web Beacons can be refused when delivered via email. If you do not wish to receive Web Beacons via email, you will need to disable HTML images or refuse HTML (select Text only) emails via your email software.
